Martha Graham | LET'S MOVE AND MOTIVATE PT 1       We have to keep moving for a healthy lifestyle , whether it be through dancing, martial arts, walking, yoga, swimming, hiking, gardening, we just have to keep moving.  While a little rest and relaxation is fine, living a completely sedentary life can be dangerous for our health.Hence the reason increasing our physical activity at any age can help lower your risk factors for serious health conditions.   Our metabolisms naturally slow over time, therefore, moving/exercise increases our metabolic rate, otherwise known as your metabolism.  Let's stay active, LET'S MOVE to maintain a healthy lifestyle and metabolism at any age. I love dancing, martial arts, cooking and gardening.  What do you enjoy doing to stay active?   You do not have to be a dancer to dance.       A bit of wisdom from me to you       Stepping into the new year like every other year; with a positive outlook , and giving thanks and praise to the most high. Someone once asked "Why are you always smiling, are you always happy? I answered "No, I am not always happy, but I choose to smile and enjoy moments." Throughout life I have learnt a lot of great lessons which keeps me going and growing, for example in the past I would vent to my mom about bad days and experiences but my mom advised me that I should never allow anyone to ruin my day, never give anyone that power and every morning I should choose to be in a good mood which will set the tone for the rest of the day. Since then, I have chosen to be guided by this principle. #mindpower Stress is a silent killer, therefore, I refuse to live the rest of my life over stressing.
