Hello

Hello there!

How are you?

I am so excited to share my many experiences with you; the good, the bad, the comme ci, comme ca moments, my travel experiences, cooking vlogs, food (recipes), gardening tips, health tips, laughter, Ti Tok comedy, my products, memoir and more.

A little about me:
I have one son, no sisters and two younger brothers I love dearly. Oh yes my loving mom is alive and looking younger than ever, she needs to share her herbal secrets, she's remarkable! She owns a herbal garden, so I have spent a lot of time in the garden, learning about herbs and of course using them. Therefore, I am knowledgeable in that area as well!

 My Art Journey:

About four years ago I started painting, I realized I had this talent hidden and decided to explore it some more; So I read on art, followed artist on YouTube and practiced drawing and painting on a daily basis; yes I spent a lot of money buying art supplies but it was okay because I was learning something new that I enjoyed immensely. In no time my house was filled with paintings, so I decided to post them on social media and YouTube, but to no avail, nothing was selling. I was not too discouraged though. I decided to try Etsy but sales were very slow. I figured since I am self taught, maybe I needed to work harder, learn more techniques etc. I have been practicing and Yes, I have improved tremendously, hopefully as time goes by I will develop my own unique style of painting and see what happens! But I am not giving up!

Most importantly, painting was and is still therapeutic, my escape from everyday life. When I paint I am most happy, engrossed in the moment, watching my painting come to life is the best feeling in the world; I get a sense of  achievement and a confidence boost!

 Memoir:

I do hope my compelling true story will inspire and motivate you to live your life to the fullest no matter your circumstances.  I am a survivor, more of that story in my memoir. If I could do it, you too can conquer anything with courage, faith and a strong will power to stay alive and succeed.

Update: 15 November 2022.  I am still writing the book. I did have a few setbacks because life happens; however, I am still motivated.

Did I mention that I love cooking? Yes, delicious simple homemade meals!

I am not a chef but I enjoy cooking; the kitchen is my sanctuary, when I’m alone, or with friends and family. I feel confident, comfortable and at ease, a satisfying release, a wonderfully relaxing pastime. Cooking is definitely a way to start the day or end the day creating something delicious and fulfilling.

What is the joy in cooking?
Learning about food prep techniques, food safety and nutrition; it gives me a chance to be creative with new recipes, experiment with different spices, and techniques. It also gives me the opportunity to learn about different cultures and cuisines, which is very fascinating. Cooking simple meals at home presents a unique therapeutic opportunity.

Thank you for joining me as I prepare simple, tasty and amazing meals without much time or skill and a little Inspiration to brighten your day!

A seat awaits you.

A stroll along the beach; a great way to unwind, get inspired and enjoy a sunset. There is magic all around, the high flying shore birds, the hammocks in the ocean, the beautiful flowers, palm trees, the sound of gently lapping waves, the reflection of the sunlight on the ocean, a magnificent sunset, the sensation of the wind blowing through my hair so invigorating and pleasurable. I am intoxicated by the wonder of it all and being alive is truly a blessing and a beautiful thing.  Swing seats with a view of the Sunset . It does not end here, there is that perfect seat! the ultimate bar swing! hoorah! The wooden fixture with swing seats for my relaxation; total comfort that's absolutely amazing!
