Sea moss drink recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb. sea moss
2 limes
6-8 cups water
1 tin condensed milk
2 tsp. Angostura bitters
sugar to taste
1 pk ( 250ml ) evaporated milk
1 stick of cinnamon

Directions:

  • Clean the sea moss before it is soaked. Wash algae thoroughly. Soak the sea moss with lime juice for 15 mins to eliminate the fresh scent of the sea moss.

  • Add the clean Sea Moss and two cinnamon sticks.

  • Bring pot to boil. Cover and simmer on low for 20-25 minutes, algae will soften and the water will thicken.

  • Remove from heat and discard cinnamon sticks. Place it in the refrigerator overnight, allowing it to gel.

  • The following day, combine all ingredients in a blender adding bitters and sugar to taste. Mix on low speed until pieces of algae are finely chopped. It's ready!

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
