A bit of wisdom from me to you

A bit of wisdom from me to you

Stepping into the new year like every other year; with a positive outlook, and giving thanks and praise to the most high.

Someone once asked "Why are you always smiling, are you always happy? I answered "No, I am not always happy, but I choose to smile and enjoy moments." Throughout life I have learnt a lot of great lessons which keeps me going and growing, for example in the past I would vent to my mom about bad days and experiences but my mom advised me that I should never allow anyone to ruin my day, never give anyone that power and every morning I should choose to be in a good mood which will set the tone for the rest of the day. Since then, I have chosen to be guided by this principle. #mindpower

Stress is a silent killer, therefore, I refuse to live the rest of my life over stressing. My husband would say "there are no problems only solutions;" in other words, problems are part of life and all problems we encounter will inevitably get solved. The bottom line is that life is short, you’re here one minute then gone the next; hence the reason we should try to embrace life and enjoy every moment of it, even the not so good moments.

Personally, I try to not waste my time hanging around or engaging in conversations with negative people because they drain my energy. I refuse to get sucked into their negative emotional spirals. I am a seeker of wisdom, so I try my best to associate with like minded people and gain wisdom from the wise and experienced.

Lastly, in my opinion, a fulfilling life is making the best of what I have, striving to be healthy which is really number one, knowing that my family members are also healthy, loved, safe and have food on the table; that is my true happiness.

Have a wonderful year.

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...

9 Powerful Characteristics of an Attractive Man

9 Powerful Characteristics of an Attractive Man       “Listen well …  Attraction is not about your face or your clothes. True attraction is energy — a quiet power that comes from being whole within yourself.  1. People listen when you speak, because your words carry truth.  2. You protect your peace — your presence calms, not destroys.  3. You walk away from noise — from drama, confusion, disrespect.  4. You are disciplined — your consistency becomes your strength.  5. You carry confidence — not from ego, but from knowing who you are.  6. When you enter a room, your energy arrives first.  7. You respect yourself and others — your boundaries speak for you.  8. You have purpose — and a man with purpose cannot be shaken.  9. And you lead yourself — before you lead anyone else.    Remember … a truly attractive man is aligned with his spirit. Stand firm. Walk with purpose. Let your energy speak louder than your words...
