Do you remember? Way back when we used cassette. So the internet went down for a few hours the other day. No Wi-Fi, no scrolling, no streaming… nothing.
So the internet went down for a few hours the other day. No Wi-Fi, no scrolling, no streaming… nothing.
So we decided to do something completely old school. We pulled out a cassette player. Yes—an actual cassette. We put the tape in, pressed play, and suddenly the room felt different. That soft click, the slight hiss before the music starts; it unlocked a wave of nostalgia. It reminded me of a time when music wasn’t instant, when you listened to an entire album from start to finish, without skipping. There were no distractions. No notifications. Just sound, memories, and presence. We sat there listening, talking, laughing, letting the music fill the space. And for a moment, everything slowed down—in the best way.
Funny how something so small can bring back so much feeling. Sometimes it takes the internet going down to remind us how beautiful the old school moments were—and still are.
