Join me on My Wellness Routine: Smoothies, Movement & Mindfulness.

Hey everyone! Welcome back to mychannel. Today, we're keeping it fresh, fun, and full of energy! I’m starting my morning with a power-packed smoothie, getting in some feel-good movement, and harvesting some homegrown lettuce for a delicious, healthy salad.

This journey is all about taking small steps toward better health; and you’re invited to do it with me. So grab your water, roll out that mat, and let's move, nourish, and glow together!

I hope everyone's having a beautiful day so far. And if not, that's okay too; just remember, no matter what’s going on in the world or in your life, this too shall pass. Put on some music, dance it out, and let the moment move through you. Tomorrow is a fresh start.

There's something to keep in mind; no matter how tough things feel, there’s always someone out there facing something even harder. So take a deep breath, look around, and find something to be grateful for in this moment.

Quick note: I'm not a professional fitness trainer; just someone staying active through dancing and movement! I'll leave a link to the pros for proper dumbbell form and safety. But if you wanna dance and move, I've got you. The goal is simple: don't stay seated, let's move together!

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture will ensure you get extra crispy skin.   To reduce fat and calories, you can skin chicken legs.  Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F.   Spices: I like to use cumin, onion (grated) garlic (grated), paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper and dried thyme if you have. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
