Especially these days, it feels like kindness and compassion are more powerful than ever. Art, for me, is one way of spreading love. Every colour, every stroke, is a reminder that beauty still exists; even when the world feels heavy. We can’t control everything happening around us, but we can control what we put out into the world, and I want to choose love, patience, and peace. So as I paint today, it's my little way of adding love back into the world. This week we took Gaïa out for the very first time with her leash attached to her collar, and she loved it! Now she’s eager to explore on her own, but since she's only been with us a couple of weeks, we're not quite ready for that yet. For now, she’ll enjoy weekly outdoor adventures with us by her side. She's even been trying to open doors herself by jumping and swinging on the handles!
