Puppets & Cuties

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday!!I am excited to introduce you to my Puppets & Cuties.
I have embarked on a new venture and I am having fun! I was inspired by Instagram's weekend hashtag project. "Celebrate the uniqueness and style of unicorns"

So I got creative and pulled out felt and other craft material my mom had stored away. My mom is really gifted with her hands, she can create the most amazing handmade stuff. She inspires me everyday. Presently she is working on her brand. You will get a chance to see her work very soon.  However, you can check her out at Louisaanthony758 and GardenChitChat on Instagram.

Anyway,  this weekend I made a puppet snake, of course my mom  guided me but she allowed me to do it with little help. "best way to learn" ..I challenged myself and used the sewing machine for part of the puppet making; it was super!! now I am addicted and want to learn to sew puppets and cuties!!! lol for many years my mom tried to persuade me to take on sewing and craft, but it wasn't my passion.

After completing the snake puppet, I wanted to make a unicorn to compliment it and start my own puppet show "Oh My" my imagination was going wild, I was too excited. But, it was more challenging to make the unicorn puppet,  I had to call for help; dear mother had to take over. She made the pattern and completed the unicorn puppet. I observed.
With the pattern made, next time, it will be easier to cut and sew with no help. "Thank you mom." I tell you mothers are the best!!
Most of the stitches were done by hand, only a small part needed to be sewn.

Voila! the puppets were ready and it was gratifying to see the end product. The show started! ^^giggles^^ I hope you enjoyed my puppet show. You never know what my puppets will have in store for you. Follow me on Instagram for more updates and to see more handmade Puppets & Cuties. Link below.

You can also request a puppet with a colour of your choice, I think everyone needs a Puppet friend. Wink.

Cherish Every Single Moment With Loved Ones

Cherish Every Single Moment With Loved Ones.   Not sure if it is the same for you, but too many people I am acquainted with are dying, friends and family members as well. In my opinion it's very important to cherish every single moment with loved ones, the happy and sad moments. Too many people are always angry and fighting over trivial things. Life is unpredictable and we are just passing through this world, therefore our ultimate goal should be to live in harmony with one another while protecting our inner peace.          YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vECaaNt090 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ChezTropic Tik tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cheztropic?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1

Hiya! Someone said Foodie?!!  Last night, I was in the mood for something different for dessert , so I got to experiment in the kitchen with oats and chia seeds .  I prepared a delicious dessert and came up with five different names. Finally I choose this one. "ChiaYopDelight" Oh I am so loving this name! wink. Do you? Don't be shy, if you think it's not a catchy name, or does not compliment the dessert, it's O k to say, I am not offended constructive criticism.  Suggestions are welcome:) No milk was added to this recipe.  Ingredients: I used chia seeds, plain yogurt, nutmeg, dried c ranberries. RECIPE: (serves 4) 1 cup oatmeal 1/4 cup whole chia seeds 1/2 cup plain yogurt 4 tablespoons pure honey to taste 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg Dried cranberry (or your desired dried fruit) Directions:   Grate nutmeg.
