Dignity in Every Hustle.

Dignity in Every Hustle.

When a man or woman is judged solely by their profession, it feels shallow. A job is a job, as long as it puts food on the table and doesn't involve anything illegal. Neither your income nor your title defines your worth as a person. For some, work is a passion, a reflection of their talent, or part of their identity; but that is their choice, not society’s standard. We are all judged in life; some more than others, and often unfairly. Yet selling by the roadside or working as a garbage collector does not diminish anyone's value. You cannot know someone's character, skills, or potential simply by looking at them. As the saying goes: never judge a book by its cover. Not being a so-called "blue-collar worker" does not make someone any less human. Instead of demeaning others, we should empower and encourage one another. Too often, those who judge the harshest are hiding their own prejudices. Do we really need validation from such people? Absolutely not.

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture will ensure you get extra crispy skin.   To reduce fat and calories, you can skin chicken legs.  Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F.   Spices: I like to use cumin, onion (grated) garlic (grated), paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper and dried thyme if you have. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
