Why Humans Should Not Litter the Ocean.
Hey there, humans! I'm Finn; just your average ocean fish, swimming around, minding my own bubbles.
"Whoa! Not again! Another plastic bag? I thought it was a jellyfish! Ugh, that could've been my last snack ever!"
You see, when you litter; especially in the ocean; we sea creatures pay the price.
One plastic bottle? It can float around for hundreds of years — longer than I’ve been alive!
Cigarette butts? Tiny but deadly. They poison the water faster than you can say, “Oops!”
I'm I talking too much? Sorry, but I am not done, because it’s not just trash, there's more trouble under the waves.
Overfishing? We lose our friends and food. Oil spills? We can’t breathe, and coral gets sick.
Do you know how you can help?
1: Reduce plastic use 🥤
2: Recycle properly ♻️
3: Join a beach clean-up 🏖️
4: Never throw stuff in drains or oceans 🚫
Tell your friends.
Keep the sea plastic-free, and we’ll all be happy as clams! 🐚 See you underwater!
