A Powerful Prayer for My Mother | God's Protection, Health & Blessings

A Powerful Prayer for My Mother | God's Protection, Health & Blessings

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for my mother and for the love, strength, and care she gives so freely; for her quiet sacrifices and even the things I never saw.
Lord, I lift up my mother to You and ask that You place a hedge of protection around her. No evil eye will see her and no evil hands will touch her, and open her eyes to any danger.
Bless her with good health and joy in her spirit. Fill her with Your strength and energy so that she is able to get through her day effortlessly, and give her the grace she needs to navigate the ups and downs of life.
May her life be filled with love, laughter, and moments of happiness.
Heavenly Father, let her life overflow with Your goodness.
I pray that my family and I will continue to love, honor, and support her.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture will ensure you get extra crispy skin.   To reduce fat and calories, you can skin chicken legs.  Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F.   Spices: I like to use cumin, onion (grated) garlic (grated), paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper and dried thyme if you have. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
