Hey!! Don't forget too visit the Windjammer Landing Resort, patterned after the picturesque villages of the mediterranean. Definitely the perfect retreat for all with its stunning, unique villas; the perfect view of the ocean, luscious tropical landscape, and not forgetting the  friendliest staff.
I look forward to meeting you:)

Oh boy! I am a foodie lover! I have dined at all 5 restaurants at the Windjammer Landing and to be honest, I don't have a favourite, because the cuisine is exceptional at all the restaurants. The prompt and professional service gives you an urge to go back! My choice of restaurant depends on my mood and the occasion really. From seafood and steak to Italian, local, international cuisine. Whatever my choice, I am always satisfied.

There is a special spot at the Jammer's Restaurant, that I enjoy going to when "me time" is needed; a wonderful escape for a few minutes... It's this cozy little corner  with a magnificent view of the ocean. The sight of palm trees falling over the restaurant ledge is captivating. The ray of sunlight illuminating the palm trees creating a variety of patterns on the table, just blows my mind away! Nature and it's magnificent diversity is awe-inspiring. I can't get enough!

I spend my blissful moments enjoying a cup of tea or cappuccino. Sometimes a zesty meal while I  take it all in, the tranquility, the peacefulness. On a very hot day, I would order a fruit punch, a cocktail or a milkshake. Yummy yummy!!

Cappuccino

On that note, Friday I enjoyed a creamy strawberry milkshake at the Jammer's Restaurant, it was refreshing and very tasty.  Confession, today, I got to indulge, I whipped up a strawberry milkshake at home.  Sure! Turned out pretty good, the ultimate Saturday drink. What is your favorite milkshake or cocktail?
Please share.

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture will ensure you get extra crispy skin.   To reduce fat and calories, you can skin chicken legs.  Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F.   Spices: I like to use cumin, onion (grated) garlic (grated), paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper and dried thyme if you have. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
