Becoming The Now – Music Video

Becoming The Now –  Music Video

 *About this song*

“Becoming The Now” is a song about returning to the present moment — letting go of the noise of the past and the pressure of the future, and discovering the peace that already exists within us. It reflects the quiet realization that we don’t need to chase or force life, but instead learn to breathe, flow, and trust the moment we are in. I wrote the lyrics for this song from a place of reflection and growth.

The music was created with the help of AI, but it became something much more personal when my husband — who is a musician — helped shape the song further and added his own touch by editing parts and playing the guitar you hear in the track. This collaboration between human creativity, technology, and live music made the song feel truly alive to me.

I love this song because it reminds me that peace is not something we have to search for far away — it is already here, in this breath, in this moment. I hope it brings you a sense of calm, reflection, and presence as you listen. Take a moment. Breathe.

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture will ensure you get extra crispy skin.   To reduce fat and calories, you can skin chicken legs.  Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F.   Spices: I like to use cumin, onion (grated) garlic (grated), paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper and dried thyme if you have. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
