Good morning, everyone, and welcome! I hope you're all doing well wherever you're joining from today. I'm having breakfast outdoors this morning, surrounded by nature, and there's something peaceful about that. Maybe today, we can all give ourselves permission to slow down, enjoy your coffee or tea without rushing, step outside if you can, or simply look out the window and notice something beautiful that you've overlooked before.

Happiness is hidden in ordinary moments; a quiet breakfast, a gentle breeze, a bird singing, or a conversation with someone you care about.

So while we're here together, I'd love to know: What's one small thing you're grateful for today? Where are you joining from today? What's on your breakfast table this morning? What's one thing that made you smile this week?

Sometimes sharing those little moments reminds us that life is richer than we realize. Thank you for spending part of your morning with me. I hope today brings you peace, good health, and something that makes you smile.

Baked Chicken

Baked Chicken | Simple Meal Ideas | Cooking Tips       No recipe today, however this is today's cooking tips and a simple meal idea:   Baking Chicken tips:   Rinse the chicken and pat it dry before baking. Once you remove the chicken from its package, rinse it under cool water in the sink (note: always sanitize your sink with disinfectant afterward). Next, pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture will ensure you get extra crispy skin.   To reduce fat and calories, you can skin chicken legs.  Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400°F.   Spices: I like to use cumin, onion (grated) garlic (grated), paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper and dried thyme if you have. Please make sure they are fresh! Spices are delicious, but a stale spice can easily ruin a dish. However, you are free to try different spice combinations.   The secret to making them crispy? Don't bake the chi...

One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time      Working out takes courage and self-motivation. It’s not always about losing weight — for me, it's about staying healthy, strong, and grateful that I can move. Whether it's Taekwondo or Zumba, my goal is the same: to stay active, to keep my energy flowing, and to enjoy the process — no stress, no pressure, just one day at a time. At my age, it may be harder to see quick results, but that doesn’t stop me. I focus on progress, not perfection. Some days, I don’t even want to leave the house — but that's when I give myself that little pep talk, reminding myself why I'm doing this. And once I start, no matter how tough the session gets, I’m always grateful I showed up. Because being able to move, stretch, kick, and dance is a blessing — health is true wealth. Every workout is a victory over excuses, a reminder that I am stronger than my doubts. Progress may be slow, but as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Slowly but surely — I’m building s...
